Patricia (Patica) Jenkins Gibson was born in 1954 in Arequipa, Peru where she studied Law in Universidad Catolica Santa Maria after living in England during her final highschool years. A self taught artist, Patica began painting 10 years ago and is considered a fine example of the Concrete Art Movement. She has participated in solo and collective art shows in Peru, as well as art fairs that include ARCO Madrid, MAPA in Argentina, Art Lima and the HelpPeru Annual Gala at Metropolitan Club in New York. Patica’s work, is currently exhibited as part of permanent collection at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Buenos Aires – MACBA.
